Description
A 1-light wall sconce from the Brookhaven Almond collection, finished in polished nickel with an opal glass teardrop shade, ideal for bedrooms and hallways.
This sconce features an elegant ombre gradient glass that transitions from rich tones to soft hues, creating a captivating visual flow. The hand-blown glass and heavy cast backplate give it a substantial, artisan-crafted feel, perfect for adding sophistication to modern or contemporary spaces.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as a reading sconce beside the bed
- Hallways, providing ambient accent light along a corridor
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork
- Entryways, adding a warm welcome
- Dining rooms, creating a soft, intimate glow
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Outdoor areas without cover - not rated for wet locations
- Spaces where you need bright, task-level lighting - this is an accent fixture
How bright is it?
With a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this sconce can produce up to about 1600 lumens, but typical use with a 60W bulb yields around 800 lumens - enough for ambient accent lighting, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
The opal glass diffuses light softly, creating a warm, inviting glow. If you use a 2700K LED bulb, the light will be warm white, similar to traditional incandescent, flattering to skin tones and warm interiors. Dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 8 inches wide, 7 inches deep, and 11 inches high, with a 7.5-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 6.25 inches high. This sconce works well in rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings.
