Description
A 1-light wall sconce from the Brookhaven Almond Collection, finished in oil rubbed bronze with amber glass, ideal for bedrooms and hallways.
This sconce features a hand-blown teardrop glass shade in a rich amber ombre gradient, set against a heavy cast backplate in oil rubbed bronze. The industrial-modern design adds a warm, artisan touch to any space, making it a striking focal point.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as a reading light beside the bed
- Hallways, providing warm accent lighting along a corridor
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or media console
- Entryways, adding a welcoming glow
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Outdoor uncovered areas - not rated for wet locations
- Spaces where you need bright task lighting - this is an accent fixture
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this sconce can produce up to about 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb. However, for accent lighting, a lower-wattage LED bulb is recommended to create a softer glow.
Light color and feel
The amber glass shade warms the light, creating a cozy, golden ambiance. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness and mood. The color temperature depends on the bulb you choose; a warm white (2700-3000K) LED complements the bronze and amber tones beautifully.
Sizing and fit
This sconce measures 8 inches wide, 7 inches deep, and 11 inches high, with a 7.5-inch extension from the wall. It suits most wall spaces and pairs well with standard 8-foot ceilings.
