This island light features a matte black steel and cast brass frame with four natural fiber dome shades, creating warm, diffused light. How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With four medium-base sockets (E26), you can install up to 60W each (or LED equivalent). Using four 60W incandescent bulbs yields about 3200 lumens total, suitable for a primary kitchen light. For a softer glow, use lower-wattage or dimmable bulbs.
Light color and feel
The natural fiber shades diffuse light, creating a warm, inviting ambiance. For a classic farmhouse look, pair with ST64 vintage bulbs (not included) in warm white (2700-3000K). The fixture is dimmable when used with compatible dimmer switches and dimmable bulbs.

Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? The fixture is dimmable when used with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Use a standard incandescent or LED dimmer.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is rated for damp locations, so it can be used in covered outdoor areas or bathrooms with no direct water exposure. Not suitable for wet locations.

All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
