Description
A 5-inch wall sconce from the Bridal Veil Collection, finished in brushed satin nickel with a light smoke glass bell shade, ideal for bedrooms and hallways.
The Bridal Veil sconce brings a dynamic yet versatile look to your walls. Its sleek metal frame and hand-blown glass shade fit seamlessly into industrial, modern, and transitional interiors. The fixture can be mounted up or down, giving you flexibility in placement and light direction.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as a reading light beside the bed or above a nightstand
- Hallways and corridors, providing ambient accent lighting
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork for a balanced glow
- Entryways, adding a warm welcome with a stylish fixture
- Dining areas, used as accent lighting on a feature wall
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas without cover, as this fixture is rated for damp locations only
- Spaces with very low ceilings, as the sconce extends 7 inches from the wall
- Primary room lighting in large open-plan areas, as a single sconce provides accent rather than full illumination
How bright is it?
This sconce accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 100W bulb, you can expect around 1600 lumens, similar to a bright living room lamp. For a softer accent glow, use a lower-wattage LED or a dimmable bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, select a 2700K-3000K bulb. The light smoke glass shade softens and diffuses the light, creating a gentle ambiance. This fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 7 inches long, 5 inches wide, and 10.75 inches high, with a 7-inch extension from the wall. The rectangular backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 6.25 inches high. It fits well in bedrooms, hallways, and other spaces with standard 8-foot ceilings.
