Description
A 5-inch wall sconce from the Bridal Veil Collection, finished in brushed satin nickel with a hand-blown clear glass bell shade - ideal for bathrooms, hallways, and entryways.
The Bridal Veil sconce brings a dynamic, sculptural presence to any wall. Its sleek metal frame and hand-blown glass shade combine industrial and transitional styling, making it a versatile choice for a range of décors. The fixture can be mounted up or down, and the clear glass lets the bulb shine through unobstructed.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a single or double vanity, mounted on either side of the mirror for task lighting
- Hallways and corridors, spaced 6-8 feet apart for ambient light
- Entryways and foyers, flanking a console table or artwork
- Bedrooms as reading sconces beside the bed
- Powder rooms, adding a decorative accent
Not ideal for
- Large living rooms or open spaces where a single sconce would be insufficient for general lighting
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain or direct water spray, despite its damp rating
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this sconce can produce up to about 1600 lumens - bright enough for task lighting in a bathroom or hallway. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED or dimmable bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The clear glass shade provides true, unfiltered light. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
This sconce measures 7 inches long, 5 inches wide, and 10.75 inches high, with a 7-inch extension from the wall. It fits well in rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings and can be mounted up or down. The rectangular backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 6.25 inches high.
