Description
A 48-inch, 4-light island light with oil rubbed bronze finish and clear glass bell shades, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Bridal Veil collection, part of the Arcadia family, features a sleek, dynamic design that fits seamlessly into most decor styles. The oil rubbed bronze finish and clear glass bell shades create an industrial yet elegant look. The fixture includes adjustable stems for customizable hanging length and a swivel for sloped ceilings.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 60-72 inches long, hung 30-36 inches above the counter
- Dining rooms over a rectangular table, centered for even illumination
- Open-concept living areas where a statement light defines the space
- Covered outdoor dining areas, as it is damp rated
Not ideal for
- Small powder rooms or hallways - this is a large, statement fixture
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, unless you use the shortest hanging length
- Bathrooms with direct water exposure - damp rated, not wet rated
How bright is it?
Each socket accepts up to a 100W bulb (bulbs not included), so with four bulbs you can achieve bright, functional light. For a kitchen island, we recommend LED bulbs in the 800-lumen range per socket for a total of about 3200 lumens - plenty for food prep and dining.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shades allow the bulbs to be visible, so the light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust from bright task lighting to a soft ambient glow.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 47.75 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 10 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 16.88 to 40.88 inches using the included stems (two 6-inch and four 12-inch). The canopy is 6.25 inches wide. This size suits a 60-72 inch island.
