Description
A 48-inch, 4-light island light from the Bridal Veil Collection, finished in champagne bronze with clear glass shades - a sleek, industrial-modern choice for kitchen islands and dining areas.
This linear island light brings a dynamic, contemporary look to your space. The bell-shaped glass shades and champagne bronze finish give it a restoration-vintage character that pairs well with transitional and modern-contempo interiors. The adjustable stems allow for a customizable hanging height, and the damp-rated construction means it can handle humid environments like kitchens.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and peninsulas, hung 30-36 inches above the countertop for task lighting
- Dining tables, providing a linear light source that complements the table's shape
- Open-concept living areas where a statement fixture anchors the room
- Breakfast nooks and eat-in kitchens, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere
- Homes with sloped or vaulted ceilings, thanks to the 90-degree hang straight swivel
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Outdoor covered patios or porches - damp-rated, not suitable for wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 16.88 inches
How bright is it?
Each of the four sockets accepts up to a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), so you can achieve a total of up to 400W. With LED bulbs, you can get bright, energy-efficient light - equivalent to roughly 3600 lumens, enough to illuminate a large kitchen island. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit the mood.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, cozy ambiance, use 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The clear glass shades allow the bulbs to be visible, creating a bright, crisp light that highlights the fixture's design. The fixture is dimmable, so you can create anything from bright task lighting to a romantic dinner setting.
Sizing and fit
The island light measures 47.75 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 10 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 16.88 to 40.88 inches, making it suitable for ceilings 8 feet and higher. The rectangular canopy is 6.25 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep, and the fixture weighs 14.95 pounds, so it may require additional support for mounting.
