The hand-blown glass shades in light smoke add a touch of sophistication, while the matte black metal frame ensures durability and style.
Best for
- Kitchen islands measuring 6-8 feet long, hung 30-36 inches above the counter
- Dining room tables, providing focused ambient light for meals
- Large entryways or foyers with high ceilings
- Open-concept living spaces that need a statement light
- Covered patios or porches, thanks to its damp-rated safety listing
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is rated for damp, not wet, locations
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is about 17 inches
- Spaces requiring a flush mount, as this is a stem-hung island light
How bright is it?
With four 100-watt maximum sockets, you can achieve up to 400 watts of incandescent equivalent brightness. If using LED bulbs, you can achieve similar brightness with much lower wattage. The actual lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose.
Light color and feel
The light color is determined by the bulbs you select. For a warm, inviting glow, choose bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. The light smoke glass shades diffuse the light, creating a soft, ambient effect.
