Description
A 48-inch, 4-light island light in matte black with seedy glass shades, ideal for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Bridal Veil Collection brings an industrial yet refined look to your home. The matte black finish and hand-blown seedy glass shades create a warm, textured glow. With adjustable stems and a sloped ceiling adapter, it fits a variety of spaces.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 feet long, providing focused task lighting over the counter
- Dining rooms with a rectangular table, hung 30-36 inches above the surface
- Open-concept living areas where a statement light is needed
- Vaulted or sloped ceilings, thanks to the included 90-degree swivel
- Spaces needing a damp-rated fixture, such as covered patios or sunrooms
Not ideal for
- Small powder rooms or hallways - this is a large statement piece
- Low ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 40-inch drop
- Spaces requiring a flush mount or semi-flush mount
How bright is it?
With four 100-watt max sockets, you can achieve up to 1600 lumens per bulb (if using 100W incandescent), making it bright enough for task lighting. For a softer glow, use lower-wattage or dimmable LED bulbs.
Light color and feel
The seedy glass shades diffuse light, creating a warm, ambient glow. Compatible with dimmable bulbs, you can adjust the brightness to suit your mood. The color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose - warm white (2700K-3000K) complements the industrial style.
