Description
A 16-inch two-light bathroom vanity light in polished nickel with seedy glass bell shades, ideal for bathrooms and powder rooms.
Part of the Bridal Veil Collection, this vanity light features a sleek, industrial design with hand-blown seedy glass shades. The polished nickel finish adds a bright, reflective quality that complements a variety of décor styles. It can be mounted with the shades pointing up or down, offering flexibility in placement.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 24-36 inch vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror
- Powder rooms and guest bathrooms, adding a touch of vintage elegance
- Dressing areas and makeup stations, providing bright, even light
- Hallways and corridors, used as a wall sconce
- Covered outdoor spaces, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Large bathrooms over 100 sq ft - two 100W bulbs may not provide sufficient light; consider additional fixtures
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with a modern, minimalist aesthetic - the industrial vintage style is prominent
- Vertical mounting - this fixture is designed for horizontal orientation only
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but it accepts two 100W incandescent bulbs (or equivalent LED), which typically produce around 1600 lumens each - enough for task lighting in a bathroom vanity area.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose. For a bright, clean light, use 3000K-4000K LED bulbs. The seedy glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare and creating a flattering glow for grooming. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust brightness for a relaxing bath.
Sizing and fit
The fixture is 16 inches wide, 7 inches deep, and 10.75 inches high, with a 7-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 6.25 inches wide and 4.5 inches high. It mounts horizontally and can be installed with shades up or down. It weighs 6.3 lbs and requires partial assembly.
