Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With three medium-base sockets (E26), using 60W equivalent LED bulbs (about 800 lumens each) yields roughly 2400 lumens total—bright enough for ambient lighting in a medium room. Bulb shape recommended: ST64 vintage-style.
