Description
An 8-inch wide, 1-light semi-flush mount from the Bridal Veil collection, finished in oil rubbed bronze with a mercury glass bell shade - ideal for adding vintage-industrial charm to entryways and hallways.
This semi-flush mount features a heavy cast canopy and a hand-blown mercury glass shade that diffuses light with a soft, reflective glow. The oil rubbed bronze finish and bell shape give it an industrial and transitional look that works well in restoration-style homes. It's hardwired and dimmable, offering flexibility in lighting control.
Best for
- Entryways and foyers, providing a warm welcome with a vintage touch
- Hallways and corridors, offering ambient light without taking up much space
- Bedrooms, as a flush mount ceiling light in rooms with 8-foot ceilings
- Dining rooms, used as a smaller ambient light over a buffet or sideboard
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Rooms with sloped ceilings - it is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Spaces where you need bright task lighting - it's designed for ambient light, not as a primary work light
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it uses a single medium-base bulb (not included) with a recommended T-series shape. With a typical 60W equivalent LED bulb, you can expect around 800 lumens - similar to a traditional 60W incandescent, suitable for ambient lighting.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is not specified, but the mercury glass shade creates a soft, diffused glow that flatters warm interiors. If you choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb, you'll get a warm, inviting tone that complements the oil rubbed bronze finish. The fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 8 inches long, 8 inches wide, and 14 inches high. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. It's best for rooms with at least 8-foot ceilings and is not suitable for sloped ceilings.
