Description
An 8-inch one-light semi-flush mount for hallways and entryways, finished in matte black with seedy glass.
The Bridal Veil collection offers a sleek, industrial look with a bell-shaped shade that adds a vintage touch. The matte black metal frame contrasts beautifully with the seedy glass, which has a textured, bubbly appearance that diffuses light warmly. This compact fixture is perfect for smaller spaces where you want style without overwhelming the ceiling.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing a warm welcome
- Bedrooms with a cozy reading nook, as a soft ambient light
- Powder rooms and bathrooms with ventilation, thanks to its damp rating
- Kitchens with a small breakfast area, mounted over a table
- Closets or laundry rooms needing a compact, stylish light
Not ideal for
- Large living rooms or open spaces that require more than 100 watts of light
- Sloped ceilings, as this fixture is not adaptable
- Areas with less than 14 inches of clearance from the ceiling
How bright is it?
With a single 100-watt maximum socket, this fixture can produce up to 100 watts of incandescent light (bulb not included). If using an LED bulb, expect around 1600 lumens, equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb. This is suitable for accent or ambient lighting in small to medium rooms.
Light color and feel
The seedy glass shade creates a textured, diffused glow that feels warm and inviting. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood. For best results, use a standard dimmer switch compatible with your bulb type.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 8 inches wide by 14 inches high, with a canopy of 4.88 inches. This semi-flush mount is ideal for rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing ample clearance. The fixture extends 14 inches from the ceiling, so ensure there is at least 15 inches of space below.
