Description
A compact 8-inch semi-flush mount light with a clear glass bell shade, ideal for hallways, entryways, and other spaces with lower ceilings.
The Bridal Veil collection brings a dynamic, industrial-modern look to any home. This semi-flush mount features a black antique brass finish and a hand-blown clear glass shade, adding a touch of vintage charm. Its sleek design and versatile style make it an easy choice for a variety of décor.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-foot ceilings, providing ambient light without taking up visual space
- Bedrooms and living rooms as a space-saving light source
- Dining areas and kitchens where a flush mount is preferred
- Covered patios and porches, as it is damp-rated
- Bathrooms (non-shower areas) due to its damp rating
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, primary illumination - this is a single-bulb fixture
- Sloped ceilings, as it is not sloped-ceiling adaptable
- Areas with very high ceilings where a pendant or chandelier would be more appropriate
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W bulb, brightness depends on the bulb you choose. Using a standard 60W incandescent equivalent LED bulb, you can expect around 800 lumens - similar to a traditional 60W bulb, suitable for ambient lighting in smaller spaces.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shade lets the bulb's light shine through unobstructed, providing a bright, crisp light. For a warmer, more inviting feel, choose a bulb with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K (warm white). This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount measures 8 inches wide and 14 inches high, making it a compact choice for rooms with 8-foot ceilings. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. It is designed for standard flat ceilings.
