Description
A compact 8-inch semi-flush mount with a mercury glass bell shade, ideal for hallways, bedrooms, and other spaces with lower ceilings.
The Bridal Veil collection combines industrial styling with a vintage-inspired mercury glass shade. The antique brass finish and hand-blown glass create a warm, reflective glow that suits both modern and traditional interiors. This fixture is damp-rated, making it suitable for bathrooms and covered patios.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-foot ceilings, providing ambient light without taking up visual space
- Bedrooms, mounted as a primary ceiling light in rooms up to 10x10 feet
- Bathrooms with a vanity, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Covered patios or porches, where damp-rated fixtures are required
- Dining areas, adding a vintage touch to smaller spaces
Not ideal for
- Large living rooms or open-concept areas that need bright, widespread illumination
- Outdoor locations exposed to direct rain or moisture, as it is only damp-rated
- Sloped ceilings, as this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
How bright is it?
This fixture accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), producing up to 1600 lumens if using a 100W equivalent LED bulb. That's about as bright as a standard 100W bulb, suitable for ambient lighting in small to medium rooms. For a softer glow, use a lower wattage bulb.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shade diffuses light, creating a soft, warm glow. The antique brass finish adds a vintage feel. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood. Use a standard dimmer switch for best results.
Sizing and fit
Measuring 8 inches wide and 14 inches high, this semi-flush mount is ideal for ceilings at least 8 feet high. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. It is not sloped ceiling adaptable, so it requires a flat ceiling.
