Description
A 1-light wall sconce from Innovations, finished in matte black with a blue glass shade, ideal for hallways, bedrooms, and living spaces.
The Bridal Veil collection offers a dynamic design that fits seamlessly into most decor styles. The matte black finish and hand-blown blue glass shade create a striking contrast, adding a pop of color and industrial charm. The fixture can be mounted up or down, giving you flexibility in placement.
Best for
- Hallways, mounted at eye level to create a welcoming glow
- Bedrooms as bedside reading lights, placed on either side of the bed
- Living rooms or dens as accent lighting to highlight artwork or architectural features
- Industrial, modern, or transitional interiors that appreciate a bold color accent
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct water exposure, as this fixture is damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Spaces where a brighter, primary light source is needed, as this sconce is best for accent or ambient lighting
How bright is it?
The fixture accepts one 100-watt incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 60-watt bulb, it produces about 800 lumens, similar to a traditional reading lamp. For a brighter output, use a higher-wattage bulb up to 100 watts.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, select a 2700K-3000K bulb. The blue glass shade will tint the light, creating a cool, atmospheric effect.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 5 inches wide, 7 inches deep, and 10.75 inches high. It extends 7 inches from the wall. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 6.25 inches high. It can be mounted vertically, either up or down.
