Description
A 5-inch semi-flush mount ceiling light with a hand-blown blue glass shade, finished in oil rubbed bronze, for hallways, entryways, and other spaces with lower ceilings.
The Bridal Veil collection brings a dynamic, industrial-modern look to compact spaces. Its bell-shaped glass shade is hand-blown in a striking blue hue, and the oil rubbed bronze metal canopy adds a vintage touch. This fixture fits seamlessly into transitional, industrial, and modern-contemporary interiors.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with ceilings 8 ft or lower, where a flush mount keeps headroom clear
- Bedrooms and sitting areas needing soft ambient light without a hanging fixture
- Dining nooks and breakfast corners with limited ceiling clearance
- Covered porches and patios, as it is damp-rated for covered outdoor areas
- Powder rooms and bathrooms with adequate clearance, thanks to its damp rating
Not ideal for
- Spaces with sloped ceilings, as this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Large rooms needing bright, primary illumination, as it is designed for accent or ambient light
- Areas requiring a hanging pendant or chandelier style
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts a single 100W incandescent bulb (not included) or compatible LED, fluorescent, or halogen bulbs. With a 100W bulb, expect brightness similar to a traditional 100W incandescent, suitable for ambient lighting in small to medium spaces.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is not specified, but the blue glass shade filters light to create a cool, calming ambiance. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust brightness to suit your mood. For best results, use a standard dimmer compatible with your bulb type.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 5 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 10.5 inches high. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. This compact size works well in hallways, entryways, and rooms with 8-foot ceilings. It is hardwired and requires partial assembly.
