Description
A 5-inch single-light semi-flush mount from the Bridal Veil Collection, finished in brushed brass with a light smoke glass shade, ideal for entryways and hallways.
The Bridal Veil Collection offers a dynamic fixture that fits seamlessly amidst most décor styles. Its sleek design and vast offering of finishes and shade options make it an easy choice for all homes. The brushed brass finish and hand-blown glass shade create a refined, vintage-inspired look that adds warmth to any space.
Best for
- Entryways and foyers with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing a warm welcome
- Hallways and corridors, adding ambient light without taking up visual space
- Bedrooms and sitting areas, as a soft overhead light
- Dining nooks and breakfast areas, creating a cozy atmosphere
- Stairwells and landings, where a low-profile fixture is needed
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Rooms requiring bright task lighting - this is an ambient fixture
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 100W bulb, expect roughly 1600 lumens - enough for ambient lighting in a hallway or entryway, but not a primary work light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, pair with a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The light smoke glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a pleasant ambiance. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust brightness to suit the mood.
Sizing and fit
The semi-flush mount measures 5 inches in diameter and 10.5 inches in height. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. It is designed for flat ceilings and is not sloped ceiling adaptable. The compact size makes it suitable for smaller spaces and lower ceilings.
