Description
A 5-inch wall sconce from the Bridal Veil Collection, finished in champagne bronze with a glossy white bell-shaped glass shade, ideal for bedrooms, hallways, and living spaces.
The Bridal Veil sconce brings a touch of vintage-industrial charm to any room. Its hand-blown glass shade and champagne bronze finish create a warm, inviting glow. The fixture can be mounted up or down, offering flexibility in placement. With a sleek, compact design, it fits seamlessly into various decor styles, from modern to transitional.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as a reading light beside the bed or above a nightstand
- Hallways and corridors, providing ambient accent lighting
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork for a balanced look
- Entryways, adding a warm welcome to guests
- Dining areas, creating a cozy atmosphere
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Outdoor areas without protection from rain or moisture
- Spaces where a primary light source is needed - this is an accent fixture
How bright is it?
This sconce uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) and is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. The actual brightness depends on the bulb you choose; with a standard 100W incandescent, you can expect around 1600 lumens, similar to a bright reading light. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you install. For a warm, cozy feel, choose a 2700K-3000K bulb. The glossy white glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a pleasant ambiance. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 7 inches long, 5 inches wide, and 10.75 inches high, with a 7-inch extension from the wall. It has a rectangular backplate that is 4.5 inches wide and 6.25 inches high. This compact size works well in smaller spaces or as an accent in larger rooms. It can be mounted up or down, and the backplate is made of heavy cast metal for durability.
