Description
A 1-light wall sconce from the Bridal Veil Collection, finished in antique brass with a light smoke glass shade, ideal for bedrooms, hallways, and living spaces.
This dynamic fixture from Innovations Lighting brings an industrial yet transitional aesthetic to any room. The sleek metal frame in antique brass is paired with a hand-blown light smoke glass shade, creating a warm and inviting glow. Its versatile design allows for mounting up or down, making it a flexible choice for various wall placements.
Best for
- Bedrooms as a reading sconce beside the bed, mounted at eye level
- Hallways and corridors for ambient accent lighting
- Living rooms to highlight architectural features or artwork
- Entryways to create a welcoming first impression
- Dining rooms for a soft, intimate atmosphere
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Outdoor uncovered areas - not rated for wet locations
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you prefer a flush mount - this sconce extends 7 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
This sconce accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), producing approximately 1600 lumens - equivalent to a traditional 100W bulb. This is suitable for accent or ambient lighting, not as a primary room light. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. With a standard incandescent bulb, you'll get a warm, golden tone (around 2700K) that flatters skin tones and complements warm finishes like antique brass. The light smoke glass shade diffuses the light, creating a soft, even glow. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 5 inches wide, 7 inches deep, and 10.75 inches high, with a 7-inch extension from the wall. The backplate measures 4.5 inches wide by 6.25 inches high. This sconce works well in rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings and can be mounted up or down to suit your preference.
