Description
A 12-inch semi-flush mount light with an oil rubbed bronze finish and mercury glass bell shade, ideal for bedrooms, hallways, and other spaces with lower ceilings.
The Bridal Veil collection brings a dynamic, hand-blown glass bell shade that catches the light beautifully. Its industrial yet transitional style fits seamlessly into a variety of décor, from modern to vintage-inspired. The oil rubbed bronze finish adds depth and warmth, making it a versatile choice for any home.
Best for
- Bedrooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, mounted to provide ambient light without taking up visual space
- Hallways and entryways, where its compact size and downward glow create a welcoming atmosphere
- Dining areas and breakfast nooks, adding a touch of industrial elegance
- Living rooms with lower ceilings, as a stylish alternative to a flush mount
- Covered porches and bathrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Large open rooms needing bright, task-level illumination - this is an accent light, not a primary source
- Sloped ceilings, as it is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Outdoor areas exposed to direct rain, despite its damp rating
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but it accepts a single 100W incandescent bulb (or compatible LED, fluorescent, or halogen), providing ample light for ambient and accent purposes. For a brighter effect, use a higher-wattage LED equivalent.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy glow, select a 2700K-3000K bulb. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a gentle, inviting ambiance. Dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 12"(L) x 12"(W) x 19"(H). The compact size makes it ideal for rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings. The canopy is 4.88" in diameter, and the fixture weighs just 2.7 lbs, making installation manageable for one person.
