Description
A 12-inch semi-flush mount with a hand-blown mercury glass bell shade, finished in satin gold - ideal for kitchens, hallways, and entryways with standard ceilings.
The Bridal Veil collection brings an artisanal touch to everyday spaces. Its hand-blown glass shade has a unique mercury finish that catches and reflects light, while the satin gold metal frame adds a warm, industrial accent. This fixture works well in transitional and modern-contemporary interiors, offering a soft, ambient glow.
Best for
- Kitchens with 8-9 ft ceilings, mounted over a sink or prep area
- Hallways and entryways needing a compact, low-profile light
- Dining nooks and breakfast bars with limited ceiling height
- Bedrooms as a central ambient light in smaller rooms
- Powder rooms and bathrooms rated for damp locations
Not ideal for
- Spaces with sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped-ceiling adaptable
- Large open rooms over 12x12 ft where a single 100W bulb may be insufficient
- Outdoor areas - rated for damp locations only, not wet
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to about 1600 lumens - similar to a traditional 100W bulb. It's suitable for ambient lighting in medium-sized rooms, but for task lighting you may want additional sources.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a gentle glow with a hint of sparkle. The fixture is dimmable when used with compatible dimmable bulbs and a dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 12 inches wide by 12 inches deep and 19 inches high. The shade is 12 inches in diameter and 14.5 inches high. This semi-flush mount is best for ceilings 8 feet or higher, providing ample clearance. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter.
