Description
A 12-inch semi-flush mount with a hand-blown bell-shaped glass shade, finished in matte black - ideal for bedrooms, hallways, and entryways with standard ceilings.
The Bridal Veil collection brings a sleek, modern silhouette to any home. Its matte black metal frame and light smoke glass shade create a soft, diffused glow that complements industrial, modern, and transitional interiors. The 2mm heavy cast canopy ensures a sturdy flush mount, while the hand-blown glass adds a touch of artisanal quality.
Best for
- Bedrooms 10x12 ft or larger, mounted as a central ceiling light for ambient illumination
- Hallways and corridors, providing even light along the path
- Entryways and foyers, making a stylish first impression
- Dining rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, as a space-saving alternative to a chandelier
- Living rooms and sitting areas, adding a modern accent
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft, as the fixture hangs 19 inches
How bright is it?
This fixture accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 100W bulb, you can expect around 1600 lumens - bright enough for ambient lighting in a medium-sized room. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED or dimmable bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. With a warm white (2700K-3000K) LED, the light will be soft and golden, flattering to skin tones and warm interiors. The light smoke glass shade diffuses the light, reducing glare and creating a cozy atmosphere. This fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 12 inches wide, 12 inches deep, and 19 inches high. It is designed for standard 8-9 ft ceilings. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter, covering a standard junction box. This semi-flush mount is a good choice for rooms with limited ceiling height where a pendant would be too low.
