Description
A 12-inch semi-flush mount light with a bell-shaped white glass shade, finished in brushed satin nickel - ideal for hallways, bedrooms, and other spaces with lower ceilings.
The Bridal Veil collection brings a sleek, industrial-modern look to your home. The brushed satin nickel finish and glossy white glass shade create a clean, versatile design that fits seamlessly into transitional, modern, and vintage-inspired interiors. The hand-blown glass adds a touch of craftsmanship, while the sturdy metal construction ensures durability.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing ambient light and a stylish focal point
- Bedrooms, mounted above a nightstand or dresser for soft, even illumination
- Dining areas or breakfast nooks, adding a warm glow over a table
- Living rooms with lower ceilings, where a flush mount is more practical than a pendant
- Covered porches or patios, thanks to its damp-rated design
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - while damp-rated, it is not wet-rated
- Spaces with sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Large rooms over 12x12 ft if you need it as the primary light source - it provides accent or ambient light, not intense illumination
How bright is it?
This fixture uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) and is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. With a standard 100W bulb, you can expect around 1600 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent, suitable for general ambient lighting in a medium-sized room. If you prefer a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, use a 2700K-3000K bulb, which emits a soft, golden light that flatters skin tones and wood finishes. This fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit your mood. Use a standard leading-edge dimmer for best results.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount measures 12 inches in diameter and 19 inches in height, making it a compact choice for rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs just 2.7 lbs, so it can be mounted on most standard ceiling boxes. It is not adaptable for sloped ceilings.
