Description
A 12-inch semi-flush mount light with a polished nickel finish and clear glass bell shade, ideal for kitchens, hallways, and entryways.
The Bridal Veil collection brings an industrial-modern aesthetic to your home with its sleek metal frame and hand-blown glass shade. The polished nickel finish pairs beautifully with the clear glass, creating a versatile fixture that complements a range of décor styles from transitional to contemporary.
Best for
- Kitchens with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing ambient light over a sink or prep area
- Hallways and entryways, mounted to illuminate a passage or foyer
- Dining areas with a small table, offering a soft glow for meals
- Bedrooms as a primary light source in a cozy seating nook
- Covered porches or patios, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Sloped ceilings, as it is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Large open rooms needing bright, focused task lighting
How bright is it?
This fixture uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) and is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. With a 100W incandescent, you can expect around 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb, providing ample ambient light for medium-sized rooms.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The clear glass shade allows the bulb to be visible, so consider a decorative filament bulb for added style.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 12 inches wide by 12 inches deep by 19 inches high. The fixture hangs flush to the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter.
