Description
A 48-inch wide, eight-light linear pendant in satin nickel with light smoke glass shades, ideal for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
From the Boreas Collection, this linear pendant combines industrial design with modern sophistication. The satin nickel metal frame features intricate knurling details on the sockets, canopy, and finials, while the cylindrical light smoke glass shades add a touch of elegance. With adjustable stems and a swivel for sloped ceilings, it's a versatile lighting solution for large spaces.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 feet long, hung 30-36 inches above the counter
- Dining room tables, centered above the table for ambient and task lighting
- Game rooms or dinettes where a linear fixture makes a statement
- Spaces with sloped or vaulted ceilings, thanks to the included swivel
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 10x10 feet - the 48-inch width may overwhelm the space
- Low ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 17 inches
- Bathrooms or outdoor areas - this is damp-rated, not wet-rated
How bright is it?
With eight sockets rated for 60W each, the fixture can deliver up to 4800 lumens if using 60W equivalent LED bulbs - enough to illuminate a large kitchen or dining area. Bulbs are not included, so you can choose your preferred brightness.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, select 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the ambiance from bright task lighting to soft dinner lighting.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 48 inches wide, 3 inches deep, and 10.75 inches high. It includes two 6-inch and four 12-inch stems, allowing a customizable hanging length from 17 to 35 inches. The swivel allows for sloped ceiling installation.
