Description
A 48-inch 8-light linear island light for kitchen islands and dining rooms, finished in brushed brass with striped white glass shades.
The Boreas collection takes an industrial approach to modern sophistication. Cylindrical glass shades are set in an updated restoration-style frame with intricate knurling detail on the sockets, canopy, and finials. The brushed brass finish and striped white glass create a refined, textured look that anchors a room.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 feet long, hung 30-36 inches above the counter
- Dining rooms over a rectangular table, providing even ambient light
- Game rooms and dinettes for a stylish, industrial touch
- Open-plan living areas where a linear fixture defines the space
Not ideal for
- Small powder rooms or hallways - this is a large statement fixture
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 30-inch drop
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose (not included). With 8 sockets rated for 60W each, you can achieve up to 4800 lumens with LED bulbs - enough for a primary kitchen light.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you select. For a warm, inviting feel, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The striped white glass diffuses light softly, reducing glare.
