Description
An 8-light linear island pendant from the Boreas Collection, finished in brushed brass with clear glass shades - ideal for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
This fixture showcases an industrial take on modern sophistication. The cylindrical glass shades are set in an updated restoration-style frame with intricate knurling detail on the sockets, canopy, and finials. The brushed brass finish adds warmth, while the clear glass lets the bulbs shine. Includes two 6-inch and four 12-inch stems for customizable hanging lengths up to 30 inches, and a 90-degree hang straight swivel for sloped ceilings.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, providing bright task lighting over a large prep area
- Dining rooms, centered above a table for ambient and accent light
- Game rooms and dinettes, adding a stylish focal point
- Open-concept living spaces, defining zones with light
- Covered patios or porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 8 feet wide - the 48-inch width may overwhelm
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 35-inch drop
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but with 8 sockets rated for 60W each, it can produce ample light for a kitchen or dining area. Use LED bulbs for energy efficiency.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose. The clear glass shades showcase the bulbs, so we recommend warm white (2700K-3000K) LEDs for a cozy, inviting glow. Dimmable with compatible dimmers.
