Description
A 36-inch eight-light chandelier from the Boreas collection, finished in satin nickel with seedy glass shades - ideal for dining rooms and kitchens.
The Boreas collection features an industrial take on modern sophistication. The satin nickel finish and hand-blown seedy glass create a vintage yet contemporary look that complements a variety of decor styles.
Best for
- Dining rooms, hung 30-36 inches above the table for dramatic lighting
- Kitchens and kitchenettes, providing bright ambient light over a large island or table
- Game rooms and dinettes, adding a stylish focal point
- Living rooms with high ceilings, used as a statement piece
- Entryways and foyers, making a grand first impression
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain - not rated for wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet - the chandelier requires at least 30 inches of clearance
How bright is it?
This chandelier is designed for eight 60-watt incandescent bulbs (not included), providing a total of 480 watts. With LED bulbs, you can achieve similar brightness with less energy. This is suitable for bright, ambient lighting in medium to large rooms.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, select bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. The seedy glass shades diffuse the light, creating a soft, ambient glow that flatters the room's decor.
Sizing and fit
This chandelier measures 36 inches in length, 36 inches in width, and 28 inches in height. The overall height can be adjusted from 30.75 to 54.75 inches using the included 60-inch chain. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter and 0.75 inches high. This fixture is sloped ceiling compatible.
