Description
A 36-inch chandelier from the Boreas Collection, finished in brushed brass with striped clear glass shades, ideal for dining rooms and kitchens.
The Boreas chandelier showcases an industrial take on modern sophistication with its cylindrical glass shades set in an updated restoration-style frame. Intricate knurling details on the sockets, canopy, and finials add a touch of craftsmanship. The hand-blown glass shades diffuse light beautifully, creating a warm and inviting ambiance.
Best for
- Dining rooms, centered over a 6-8 ft table for ambient and task lighting
- Kitchens, over a large island or breakfast bar
- Game rooms and dinettes, adding a stylish focal point
- Open-plan living areas, defining the dining zone
- Entryways with high ceilings, making a dramatic statement
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full hanging length
- Small rooms where a 36-inch width would overwhelm the space
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs used; compatible with up to 60W incandescent per socket. For reference, a 60W incandescent produces about 800 lumens, so with 8 bulbs, you can achieve up to 6400 lumens total.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs; choose warm white (2700K-3000K) for a cozy feel, or cool white (4000K+) for a more modern, crisp light. Dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
