Description
A 36-inch wide, 8-light chandelier from the Boreas Collection, finished in polished nickel with light smoke glass shades - a modern, industrial statement for dining rooms and kitchens.
The Boreas chandelier offers an industrial take on modern sophistication. Cylindrical glass shades are set in an updated restoration-style frame with intricate knurling detail on the sockets, canopy, and finials. Hand-blown glass and a polished nickel finish create a refined yet rugged look. Sloped ceiling compatible and damp rated, it brings elegance and versatility to your space.
Best for
- Dining rooms with a 6-8 foot table, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Kitchens with an island or breakfast bar, providing ambient and task lighting
- Game rooms or dinettes needing a dramatic focal point
- Damp locations such as covered patios or sunrooms
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 10x10 feet - this 36-inch chandelier may overwhelm the space
- Low ceilings under 8 feet - the minimum hanging height is 30.75 inches
How bright is it?
With eight 60W incandescent bulbs (not included), the chandelier can produce up to 4800 lumens - bright enough to serve as a primary light source in a dining room or kitchen. Actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, inviting glow, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright task lighting to soft ambient.
