Description
A 29-inch, 6-light chandelier from the Boreas Collection, finished in polished nickel with seedy glass shades, designed for kitchens and dining rooms.
The Boreas Collection offers an industrial take on modern sophistication. Cylindrical seedy glass shades are set in an updated restoration-style frame with intricate knurling detail on the sockets, canopy, and finials. The polished nickel finish adds a bright, reflective quality, making it a versatile piece for various decor styles.
Best for
- Dining rooms with tables 36-60 inches long, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Kitchen islands, providing ambient light over a medium-sized prep area
- Game rooms or dinettes needing a stylish statement fixture
- Open-concept living areas with 9-foot or higher ceilings
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 30.75 inches
How bright is it?
With six 60-watt sockets (360W total), this chandelier can produce up to 3600 lumens if using 60W equivalent LED bulbs - sufficient for a medium-sized dining room or kitchen. Actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose.
Light color and feel
The seedy glass shades diffuse light, creating a warm, ambient glow. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood from bright task lighting to a soft, intimate setting. For a warm, incandescent-like feel, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs.
Sizing and fit
The chandelier measures 29 inches wide, 29 inches deep, and 24 inches high, with an adjustable hanging height from 30.75 to 54.75 inches via the included 60-inch chain. It is sloped-ceiling compatible and weighs 10 lbs.
