Description
A 29-inch, six-light chandelier from the Boreas Collection, finished in matte black with light smoke glass shades, designed for kitchens and dining rooms.
The Boreas Collection brings an industrial edge to modern sophistication. Cylindrical glass shades sit in an updated restoration-style frame, with intricate knurling on the sockets, canopy, and finials. The matte black finish and light smoke glass create a moody, refined look that anchors a dining table or kitchen island.
Best for
- Dining rooms with tables 48-60 inches long, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Kitchens with islands 6-8 feet long, providing ambient and task light
- Game rooms or dinettes where a statement fixture is wanted
- Open-plan living areas that need a central light source
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 60-inch chain length
- Spaces requiring a flush mount - this is a hanging chandelier
How bright is it?
Lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose. With six 60W equivalent LED bulbs, you can expect around 4800 lumens total - enough to brightly light a large dining room or kitchen. For a softer ambiance, use dimmer bulbs or a dimmer switch.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the light level. With warm white bulbs (2700K-3000K), the light will feel cozy and inviting, complementing the matte black and smoke glass. The clear glass shades allow the bulbs to be visible, so choose decorative bulbs like T-series for a stylish look.
Sizing and fit
The chandelier measures 29 inches wide, 29 inches deep, and 24 inches high. The height can be adjusted from 30.75 to 54.75 inches using the included 60-inch chain. It is sloped ceiling compatible, making it versatile for various ceiling types.
