Description
A 29-inch, 6-light chandelier from the Boreas Collection, finished in matte black with deco swirl glass shades, for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Boreas chandelier brings an industrial edge to modern sophistication. Its cylindrical glass shades are set in an updated restoration-style frame with intricate knurling on the sockets, canopy, and finials. The matte black finish and hand-blown glass create a refined, textured look that anchors a room.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and dining tables, hung 30-55 inches above the surface
- Game rooms and dinettes needing a statement light with a vintage-industrial feel
- Open-plan living areas where the 29-inch width fills a generous space
- Sloped ceilings, as the fixture is sloped-ceiling adaptable
- Damp locations like covered patios or bathrooms with ventilation
Not ideal for
- Low ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is about 31 inches
- Spaces needing bright task lighting, as this is more of an ambient or accent fixture
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain, despite damp rating
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. The fixture accepts six E26 bulbs up to 60W each (not included). With LED bulbs, you can achieve a bright, energy-efficient glow suitable for dining and entertaining.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by your bulb choice. For a warm, inviting ambiance, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The deco swirl glass diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a cozy atmosphere.
Sizing and fit
The chandelier measures 29 inches wide, 29 inches deep, and 24 inches high. It includes a 60-inch chain and 120-inch cord, allowing hanging heights from 30.75 to 54.75 inches. The canopy is 4.5 inches round. Ideal for rooms with 8-10 foot ceilings.
