Description
A 29-inch, six-light chandelier from the Boreas Collection, finished in brushed brass with striped white glass shades, designed for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Boreas chandelier brings an industrial edge to modern sophistication. Its cylindrical glass shades are set in a restoration-style frame with intricate knurling on the sockets, canopy, and finials. The brushed brass finish and striped white glass create a warm, textured look that complements both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and dining tables, providing ambient light over a 4-6 foot table
- Game rooms and dinettes, adding a stylish focal point
- Kitchenettes and breakfast nooks, where its 29-inch width fits comfortably
- Open-concept living areas, hung over a counter or bar
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or outdoor covered areas - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated, so avoid direct water exposure
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need a long drop, as the chain can extend up to 60 inches
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. Each socket accepts up to 60W incandescent bulbs (not included), so brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. For reference, six 60W bulbs would provide ample light for a large room.
Light color and feel
Color temperature not specified. The striped white glass shades diffuse light softly, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. Dimmable when used with compatible dimmer and bulbs.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 29"(L) x 29"(W) x 24"(H). Height adjusts from 30.75 to 54.75 inches. Canopy is 4.5" round. Works well in rooms with standard 8-9 foot ceilings; sloped ceiling adaptable.
