Description
A compact 7-inch pendant from the Bolivar Collection, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas where you want focused light with an industrial edge.
The Bolivar pendant pairs a stately ribbed metal base with a hand-blown cylindrical glass shade in light smoke. The brushed brass finish adds warmth, while the industrial and transitional styling fits a range of decors. With a 120-inch cord that can be cut to length, it adapts to sloped ceilings and various mounting heights.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task lighting over a 6-8 ft island
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for ambient light
- Entryways and hallways, as a statement accent
- Coffee bars or breakfast nooks, providing focused illumination
- Living rooms, used in pairs over side tables or seating areas
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing broad, even illumination - this is a single accent light
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating, if you prefer a sealed fixture
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 120-inch cord extended
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can produce up to about 1600 lumens - similar to a 100W incandescent, bright enough for task lighting over a counter or table. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED or dimmer.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting feel, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The smoke glass shade diffuses light, reducing glare and creating a cozy ambiance. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust brightness to suit the mood.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 4.75 inches in diameter and 7 inches in height, with an overall height range of 10.75 to 127.75 inches when the cord is extended. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It works well over kitchen islands, dining tables, and in entryways with standard 8-9 ft ceilings.
