Description
A single-light pendant from the Bolivar Collection, finished in matte black with a seedy glass cylinder shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Bolivar Collection is a study in architectural design and subtle details. The stately ribbed base houses a cylindrical glass shade, creating a refined industrial look. The matte black finish and seedy glass add texture and depth, making it a versatile choice for transitional and restoration-style interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row for task lighting over a 6-8 ft island
- Dining rooms, providing focused light over a table for 4-6 people
- Entryways and hallways, as a statement accent light
- Breakfast nooks and casual dining areas
- Covered patios or porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Large open spaces needing broad ambient light - this is a focused accent light
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 120-inch cord
How bright is it?
This fixture accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 100W bulb, you can expect around 1600 lumens, similar to a bright reading light. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED or a dimmer.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. With a warm white LED (2700K-3000K), the seedy glass diffuses a cozy, amber-toned light that flatters wood and neutral palettes. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright task lighting to a soft evening glow.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 4.75 inches wide and 12 inches tall, with an adjustable height from 15.75 to 132.75 inches thanks to the 120-inch cord. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It suits most ceiling heights and is sloped-ceiling compatible.
