Description
A 5-inch cord pendant from the Bolivar collection, finished in matte black with a clear glass shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Bolivar pendant is a study in architectural design and subtle details. Its ribbed base and cylindrical clear glass shade create a stately, industrial look that fits seamlessly into transitional and restoration-style interiors. The 120-inch cord can be cut to your desired length, and it is sloped ceiling compatible.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for task lighting
- Dining rooms, providing focused light over a table
- Entryways and foyers, making a statement
- Coffee bars and home bars, adding a warm, inviting glow
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Large open rooms where you need to illuminate the entire space - this is an accent light, not a primary light source
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - while damp-rated, it is not wet-rated
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts a single 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 100W bulb, you can expect roughly 1600 lumens, similar to a bright living room lamp. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED or dimmable bulb.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is not specified, but it is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the ambiance. The clear glass shade provides unobstructed light, creating a bright and airy feel. For a classic look, pair with a 2700K-3000K LED bulb.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 4.75 inches in diameter and 12 inches in height, with a minimum hanging height of 15.75 inches and a maximum of 132.75 inches. The round canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It is suitable for ceilings of standard height and can be adapted for sloped ceilings.
