Description
A 5-inch, 1-light stem pendant from the Blakeley collection, finished in polished nickel with a mercury glass shade, perfect for adding a contemporary touch to kitchens and dining areas.
This pendant combines geometric precision with modern elegance. The hexagonal metal holder and matching backplate frame a hand-blown mercury glass cylinder, creating a sophisticated play of light and reflection. Its adjustable stem length and damp-rated construction make it a versatile choice for various settings.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung 28-34 inches above the counter for focused task lighting.
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for ambient and accent light.
- Entryways or foyers, adding a warm welcome with its reflective glass.
- Hallways or corridors, providing a stylish glow.
- Contemporary or industrial interiors seeking a sleek, geometric accent.
Not ideal for
- Large open spaces where a single 5-inch pendant would be too small to provide adequate illumination.
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite the damp rating, as it is not wet rated.
- Low ceilings under 7 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 21.75 inches.
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100-watt bulb (not included), the brightness depends on the bulb you choose. A 100-watt incandescent equivalent LED bulb provides about 1600 lumens, suitable for accent or task lighting in smaller areas.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm, ambient glow. For a cozy atmosphere, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 5 inches long by 5 inches wide by 16.5 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 21.75 to 45.75 inches using the included stems. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs 6 pounds.
