Description
A 5-inch single-light pendant from the Blakeley Collection, finished in polished nickel with a clear hand-blown glass shade - ideal for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Blakeley pendant blends geometric precision with modern design. Its hexagonal metal holder and matching backplate frame a clear glass cylinder, while the polished stem and tail detail add a refined touch. The fixture includes multiple stems for adjustable hanging lengths, making it versatile for various ceiling heights.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row for task lighting over a prep area
- Dining rooms, centered above a table for ambient illumination
- Entryways or hallways, as a statement piece with a contemporary flair
- Covered patios or sunrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Sloped or vaulted ceilings, with the included 90-degree swivel
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - while damp-rated, it's not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need a longer hanging length
- Areas requiring a flush mount - this is a stem pendant
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can emit up to about 1600 lumens - similar to a traditional 100W bulb, bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED or dimmable bulb.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shade lets the bulb's natural color shine through. If you choose a 2700K warm white LED, you'll get a cozy, inviting tone that flatters wood and neutral palettes. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright task lighting to a gentle ambient glow.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 5 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 16.5 inches high. With the included stems (one 6-inch and two 12-inch), the hanging height can be adjusted from 21.75 to 45.75 inches, making it suitable for most standard ceilings. The hexagonal backplate is 4.5 inches in diameter.
