Description
A 5-inch cord pendant with a hand-blown light smoke glass shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Blakeley pendant combines geometric precision with modern design. Its hexagonal metal holder and backplate frame a cylindrical glass shade, creating a cohesive look that adds contemporary flair. The polished nickel finish and light smoke glass bring a sophisticated touch to any space.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row for task lighting over a 6-8 ft counter
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for ambient light
- Entryways or hallways, adding a modern accent
- Coffee bars or breakfast nooks, providing focused light
- Living rooms with high ceilings, as a statement piece
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating, due to the open bottom shade
- Outdoor uncovered areas, not rated for wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft, as the minimum hanging height is 18.75 inches
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. Uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces about 1600 lumens. Bright enough for task lighting over a counter or table.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb used. With a standard incandescent, expect a warm, yellowish glow. The light smoke glass diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a cozy ambiance.
