Description
A 5-inch single-light pendant from the Blakeley Collection, finished in matte black with a light smoke glass shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
This pendant blends geometric precision with modern design. The hexagonal glass shade is set within a sleek hexagonal metal holder, and the polished stem and tail detail, along with a matching hexagonal backplate, create a cohesive look. The hand-blown glass and matte black finish add a contemporary flair to any space.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task lighting over a 6-8 ft island
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for ambient light
- Entryways and foyers, adding a modern accent
- Breakfast nooks and casual dining areas
- Living rooms with high ceilings, used as a statement piece
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Outdoor uncovered areas - not rated for wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 30-inch stem length
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. It accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), so brightness depends on the bulb you choose. For reference, a 100W incandescent produces about 1600 lumens, enough for ambient lighting in a medium room.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. The light smoke glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm, inviting glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood. For best results, use a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 5 inches wide by 5 inches deep by 16.5 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 21.75 to 45.75 inches using the included 6-inch and two 12-inch stems. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. This pendant works well in rooms with 8-10 ft ceilings.
