Description
A 5-inch stem pendant from the Blakeley collection, finished in matte black with a mercury glass cylinder shade - ideal for kitchen islands, dining rooms, and contemporary spaces.
The Blakeley collection combines geometric design with modern flair. This pendant features a hexagonal metal holder and a hand-blown mercury glass shade that adds a touch of vintage charm. The matte black finish and polished stem details create a sophisticated look. Includes multiple stems for adjustable hanging length, and a swivel for sloped ceilings.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for task and ambient light
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, providing focused light over a table
- Entryways and foyers, creating a contemporary focal point
- Living rooms and reading nooks, used as accent lighting
- Sloped or vaulted ceilings, thanks to the 90-degree swivel
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces where you need a bright primary light source - this is a 100W max accent pendant
- Low ceilings under 8 feet if you use the full 30-inch stem - use shorter stems
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts a single 100W incandescent bulb (or equivalent LED/CFL), which typically produces 1600 lumens - bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. This fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulbs.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 5 inches in diameter and 16.5 inches in height, with a hanging height adjustable from 21.75 to 45.75 inches using the included stems. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It works well over kitchen islands, dining tables, and in entryways with ceilings 8 feet or higher.
