Description
A single-light cord pendant from the Blakeley collection, featuring a matte black metal frame and a mercury glass shade, perfect for adding industrial-modern flair to kitchens and dining areas.
The Blakeley collection blends geometry and modern design with its hexagonal glass shades set in sleek hexagonal metal holders. This pendant features a polished stem and tail detail, along with a matching hexagonal backplate, creating a cohesive look. The hand-blown mercury glass shade adds a vintage touch, making it a versatile piece for contemporary interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for ambient light
- Entryways and hallways, adding a statement piece
- Coffee bars or breakfast nooks, providing focused illumination
- Damp locations such as covered patios or sunrooms
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing high light output, as this is a single 100W bulb fixture
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating, due to style and size
- Spaces with very low ceilings, as the minimum hanging height is 18.75 inches
How bright is it?
With a single 100-watt incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to 1,600 lumens, similar to a 100W bulb. This is suitable for accent or task lighting, not as a primary light source for a large room. Use a dimmable LED bulb for energy efficiency.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light level. The mercury glass shade diffuses light, creating a soft, warm glow that enhances the vintage-industrial aesthetic. For a warmer tone, use a bulb with a color temperature around 2700K.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 5 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 16.5 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 18.75 to 135.75 inches, thanks to the 120-inch cord that can be cut to length. The canopy is 5.25 inches wide, and the fixture weighs 6 pounds.
