Description
A 48-inch, 4-light island light from the Brookhaven Globe Collection, finished in brushed satin nickel with amber glass shades - a versatile choice for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Brookhaven Globe island light features a sleek, industrial design with hand-blown amber glass shades that add a warm, vintage glow. The brushed satin nickel finish complements a variety of decor styles, from modern to transitional. The fixture is dimmable and damp-rated, making it a practical and stylish addition to your kitchen or dining room.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 48-72 inches wide, hung 30-36 inches above the counter for task lighting
- Dining rooms over a table, providing ambient light for meals
- Open-concept living spaces where a statement light is needed
- Spaces with a modern industrial or transitional decor theme
Not ideal for
- Small kitchens with islands under 36 inches wide - this fixture may overwhelm the space
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet - the minimum hanging height is 14.75 inches
- Outdoor areas - it is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
How bright is it?
Each socket is rated for up to 100W, and with four bulbs, you can achieve a total of up to 400W (or equivalent LED lumens). This is bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table.
