Description
A 48-inch wide, 4-light island pendant from the Brookhaven Globe Collection, finished in polished nickel with amber glass globes - designed for kitchen islands and dining areas that need a sculptural, warm statement.
The Brookhaven Globe pendant brings a dynamic, hand-blown glass look to contemporary and transitional interiors. Its polished nickel frame and amber globes create a warm, inviting contrast, while the adjustable stem lengths let you customize the hanging height to suit your space. The fixture is damp-rated, making it suitable for covered outdoor areas as well.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 feet long, hung 30-36 inches above the countertop
- Dining rooms with a 6-8 foot table, providing ambient and task lighting
- Covered patios or porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Open-plan living areas where a sculptural light fixture serves as a focal point
- Vaulted or sloped ceilings, with the included 90-degree swivel
Not ideal for
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 38.75-inch drop
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms where you prefer a single, large light source rather than multiple globes
How bright is it?
Each socket accepts up to a 100W bulb (bulbs not included), so with four bulbs you can achieve a bright, even light. For reference, four 60W incandescent bulbs would produce about 3200 lumens - enough to illuminate a large kitchen island or dining area. Using LED bulbs can provide similar brightness with lower energy use.
Light color and feel
The amber glass shades filter the light, creating a warm, golden glow that adds coziness and ambiance to the room. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood from bright task lighting to a softer ambient glow. For best results, use a standard dimmer switch compatible with your bulb type.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 48 inches wide, 7.88 inches deep, and 11.8 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 14.75 to 38.75 inches using the included stems (two 6-inch and four 12-inch). The rectangular canopy is 6.25 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep. Ideal for islands or tables at least 6 feet long.
