Description
A 48-inch, 4-light island light from the Brookhaven Cloche Collection, finished in matte black with opal glass shades, for kitchen islands and dining areas.
This linear island light brings an industrial-modern look to your kitchen or dining space. The matte black metal frame and cylindrical opal glass shades diffuse light softly, while the hand-blown glass adds an artisan touch. With adjustable stems and a sloped ceiling adapter, it fits a variety of ceiling types.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 feet long, hung 30-36 inches above the counter
- Dining rooms with a rectangular table, centered above the table
- Open-plan living areas where a linear fixture defines the space
- Vaulted or sloped ceilings, thanks to the included 90-degree swivel
Not ideal for
- Low ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 38-inch hanging length
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this is damp-rated, not wet-rated
How bright is it?
With four 100-watt max sockets (bulbs not included), you can achieve up to 1600 lumens per bulb with LED replacements, making it bright enough for task lighting on a kitchen island. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood.
Light color and feel
The opal glass shades diffuse light to a soft, even glow. With warm white bulbs (2700K-3000K), the light feels cozy and inviting, complementing wood and neutral tones. The fixture is dimmable for versatile ambiance.
