Description
A 24-inch, six-light chandelier from the Brookhaven Almond Collection, finished in matte black with slate glass shades, for dining rooms and foyers.
The Arcadia chandelier brings a dynamic, industrial-modern look to your home. Its sleek teardrop shades in slate glass and matte black metal frame fit seamlessly into a variety of décor styles, from industrial to transitional. Hand-blown glass and a versatile stem design make this a standout piece for any room.
Best for
- Dining rooms with a table 48-60 inches long, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Two-story foyers and entryways, making a bold first impression
- Open-plan living areas where you want a statement light with an industrial edge
- Bedrooms with 9-foot ceilings or higher, as a central ambient light
- Kitchens with an island, hung 30-36 inches above the counter
Not ideal for
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 21 inches
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite the damp rating, if you prefer a dry-rated fixture for peace of mind
- Outdoor covered areas, as this fixture is not rated for wet locations
How bright is it?
With six 100-watt maximum sockets, this chandelier can produce up to 6,000 lumens (if using 100W incandescent bulbs) - bright enough to serve as the primary light in a large dining room or foyer. Actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose; LED bulbs can provide similar light with less energy.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the light to suit your mood. The color temperature depends on the bulbs you install - warm white (2700K-3000K) creates a cozy, inviting glow, while cooler temperatures (3500K-5000K) feel more energetic. The slate glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare.
Sizing and fit
This chandelier measures 23.88 inches wide and 14.13 inches high, with a hanging height adjustable from 21 to 45 inches using the included stems. It is suitable for rooms with 8-foot ceilings or higher. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs 6 pounds.
