Description
A 4-light island light from the Berkshire Glass collection, finished in brushed brass with clear glass shades, designed for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Berkshire Glass island light combines industrial and transitional styling with a sleek brushed brass finish and clear glass shades. The steel and cast brass construction ensures durability, while the four vintage-style bulbs (not included) provide ample illumination. This fixture is damp-rated, making it suitable for covered outdoor areas as well.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, centered above the island for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms with a rectangular table, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop

How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With four medium-base sockets (E26), you can use up to 60W incandescent equivalent bulbs each, for a total of up to 240W equivalent. For a typical kitchen island, 2000-4000 lumens total is recommended; using four 60W equivalent LED bulbs (about 800 lumens each) would provide 3200 lumens - bright enough for food prep and dining.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shades showcase the bulbs, so the light color and feel are determined by your bulb choice. For a warm, inviting glow, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The open-bottom design allows light to spread downward and slightly outward, creating a focused pool of light on the surface below.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 50.75 inches wide, 10.88 inches high, and extends 8 inches from the ceiling. The height is adjustable from 19.88 to 43.88 inches using the included stem and wire (10 ft of wire). It is sloped-ceiling adaptable. The canopy is 6.25 x 4.5 x 1 inches. Ideal for ceilings 8 ft or higher.

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are not included. The fixture requires four medium-base (E26) bulbs, recommended ST64 vintage shape.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Dimmability depends on the bulbs you choose. Use dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible LED dimmer for best results.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? This fixture is UL and ETL listed for damp locations, so it is suitable for covered outdoor areas and bathrooms with no direct water exposure. Not for wet locations.

Returns

All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
