Description
A 28-inch, 3-light island light from the Berkshire Collection, finished in matte black with clear glass shades - ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Berkshire Collection redefines elegance with a seamless fusion of classic sophistication and contemporary flair. Its distinctive herringbone pattern and clear glass globes allow light to disperse captivatingly, creating a warm, inviting glow. The matte black finish and modern contempo style make it a versatile centerpiece for any kitchen or dining space.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, centered over the island for focused task and ambient light
- Dining rooms with a table 48-72 inches long, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Open living areas with 8-10 foot ceilings, using the adjustable cord to set the ideal height
- Breakfast nooks and counter-height seating areas
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 10-foot cord length
- Rooms requiring bright, task-level illumination - the 300W incandescent bulbs provide ambient light, not high-output task lighting
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With three medium base sockets, you can choose bulbs to achieve your desired brightness - typically 60W equivalent LED or incandescent bulbs work well.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, select 2700K-3000K bulbs. The clear glass globes provide a bright, unobstructed light that enhances the herringbone pattern's visual appeal.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 28 inches wide, 7 inches deep, and 11 inches high. With the 10-foot adjustable cord, the minimum hanging height is 14.75 inches and the maximum is 131.75 inches. The canopy is 26.75 inches wide, 5.75 inches deep, and 0.75 inches high. It is sloped ceiling compatible.
